Thanks for joining Naoko in some mystery-hunting shenanigans.

Re: Tidbits & Plot
And yes, I'm perfectly aware I mismanaged hints about there being two Wu, and only a single (NPC) very busy shapeshifter. Well, with (at least) two kitsune PCs, that seemed appropriate. Kicked into that False Identity Anxiety, for sure. The one about Tokiko shutting down some chatter about shapeshi...

Re: (D4 LE-Mountain Shrine) Last Call
Naoko considers the idea. "I'd like learning where the shrines are here on the way at least." There are complications to traveling companions though, and she'd have reports to make as the least of them. "Though I've a private errand to manage first. Meet at the first crossroad past the village?"

Re: (D4 LE-Mountain Shrine) Last Call
She thinks on that, as Hanakuso sniffs the space where the skull had appeared. "Honestly, I'm not sure. There's nothing much to accomplish with the information about the abbess, is there? So long as her family doesn't visit, there's just...a few more poisonous creatures around? Probably keeps the ro...

Re: (D4 LE-Mountain Shrine) Last Call
Naoko nods "Not what I expected" She drops her voice to whisper, though volume was not the measure of how spirits hear. "I thought the mountain spirit would be bigger, but..I'm not complaining." As things are gathered up, she adds, "thanks for sharing the task. Sorry to get you tangled in the Fortun...

Re: Oh yes, I was there too (GM Q&A)
All neat ideas if/when they show up.
It's been a while since there was a good co-op game. With 5e's Assistance rules, that seems like interesting territory to explore at some point.

Re: (D4 LE-Mountain Shrine) Last Call
Naoko, let's out a long, slow breath. "OK then." She tugs her mask down once more. "I guess if that happens, at least I'll know they probably deserved it?" She glances to the Kaito, wondering if she'd also be thinking of this every time she drew her bow for the foreseeable future. A swish of the cat...

Thanks for running and pushing at the job of squishing 5e into PbP effectively. I've enjoyed interacting with the game and the NPCs. Thanks for creepy sand skull. XD

Re: (D4 LE-Mountain Shrine) Last Call
She murmurs back to Maya, not fooling herself that the conversation isn't heard, "Crane feathers fletch them. Won the bow from a Crane, so...it bothers them." A short version and true enough, even if it wasn't a member of the Crane clan she was speaking off. "Ahhh," Naoko slumps a bit. "I have no su...

Re: (D5, EE, the village bathhouse) Merry met now merry part
Perhaps with some actual courtly training, she'd have taken an offended tack--how dare someone imply her lord wasn't providing properly or managing his underlings appropriately? Instead there's the crease of a confused frown, a nervous pressing back against the waterlogged wood of the tub. "He..but....

Re: Journal Entry: Kitsuki Kindachi
I liked the journal entry format. Fitting for a Kitsuki. How hard was it to keep up with that?
Uncover anything interesting?
Oh right...should be asking folks to share their tidbits in general now that the game is over.

Re: [D5EN, The mountains] A report (Closed)
Naoko nods once, knowing she'll need to ask some friends to figure out how to get there. She was pretty sure it wasn't back in the direction of Naoko's home, or family, but she'd probably need to figure out what to do when they met by next winter. By that time, she'd have a plan. Or maybe another jo...

Re: The Watchful Eye: Seppun Akimitsu Q&A
Still interacting, so I don't think I have Akimitsu-specific questions yet. But I always like knowing what sparked the idea of the character. And, much like Riri's questions...if they worked out for you as expected?

Re: (D4 LE-Mountain Shrine) Last Call
Hanakuso's ears flatten as he crouches low, making himself as invisible as a cat caught in the open can. Naoko's eyes go wide at the sand skull and her voice stammers out in a bit of a squeak to start, growing quieter and a bit sheepish by the end. "oh...um...more like information than justice Hofuk...

Re: (D5, EE, the village bathhouse) Merry met now merry part
There's mirth in those green eyes, and a smile as she hears that life is a smidge less wildly luxurious in the capital than her imagination may have painted it. "Still sounds a good bit comfier than anything around here." "The villages of the Scorpion's mountains," she waves vaguely in a a direction...

Re: Boink stick ideology aka the Dojo Bride - Doji Riri Q&A
With my crane spirit bow and crane-fletched arrows? That would be amusing on some level, for sure.
What was the idea behind Riri? I noticed a lot of fidgeting here and there in event threads, but wasn't sure what was behind that.
Why hop in on Haruhi's side in the intrigue?

Re: Truth in maskvertising: Soshi Naoko Q&A
So... I'll ask the same thing I asked Ketsudan for now, I guess. Do you feel Naoko achieved what she hoped to achieve here? I think so. While she wasn't well suited to learn solid technique secrets to pass along, she did learn some secrets and did learn more about human culture as it operates in th...
