And yes, I'm perfectly aware I mismanaged hints about there being two Wu, and only a single (NPC) very busy shapeshifter. Well, with (at least) two kitsune PCs, that seemed appropriate. Kicked into that False Identity Anxiety, for sure. The one about Tokiko shutting down some chatter about shapeshi...

Naoko considers the idea. "I'd like learning where the shrines are here on the way at least." There are complications to traveling companions though, and she'd have reports to make as the least of them. "Though I've a private errand to manage first. Meet at the first crossroad past the village?"

It's been a while since there was a good co-op game. With 5e's Assistance rules, that seems like interesting territory to explore at some point.
