Re: OOC chat
Hate to do this but I think I need to bow out. My vertigo has been worsening to the point where any movement, including rolling over in my sleep, sets it off. Needless to say that's not exactly restful or conducive to the deep thought needed to be in the mindset of a character. Sorry to the folks wh...

Re: [D2EM, Main hall, Open] At the crack of dawn (Occasion)
The monk offers a polite bow from his seated position, pausing in eating to return the greeting, "Good morning, Kitsuki-sama. This one is known as Boku."

[LM, The Shrine, Open] Deep Devotion
In truth being surrounded by the weight of the mountain and the example of its spirit was one of the few times Boku could stay still long enough to properly meditate. Alternating between tending the fire and playing his flute he does his best to distance himself from self and ego... it is not an eas...

Re: [D2EM, Main hall, Open] At the crack of dawn (Occasion)
Normally by now Boku would be tending to the shrine beneath them but given the number of guests meal preparation, which thankfully was fast paced enough not to be too boring a chore, took a great deal longer and meant he was just now partaking in his own breakfast amongst the others.

Re: [D2EA, The Mountains, Open] Relaxation through exhaustion (Occasion)
While the beautiful scenery was wasted on one who could not see... well, ok, the bird song was nice when they weren't panicked by plodding guests... Boku was more than happy to join Haruhi in her run. Those who had worked out his lack of vision are likely shocked at the speed with which the monk run...

Re: GM questions
Just realized I accidentally incremented both my day and my action during one of my rolls so it's labeled as D3. It is labeled as the event as well. I assume that will be ok (especially since it failed anyway) or did you want a reroll?

Deep in Morning (EM, Shrine)
Deep within the heart of the mountain, at the shrine they served, was one of the rare times that Boku was able to set aside his impatience and impulsiveness. The young monk carefully tends the fire and makes his daily prayers and offerings as countless generations had before him.

Neutral on during game. Very pro sharing post-game if they do not become public during the game.
Re: OOC chat
To my knowledge there has been no tale of Someisa in this reality.
Edit: Though, as with many things, one could possibly have heard of similar apocrypha just without the weight of 'canon' to back it up. Who knows what wild stories have been told about Shinsei through the centuries.

Re: [D1EE, Main Hall, Open] The first supper (Occasion)
Though the meal was not for him, as a member of the monastery, he was very curious indeed about what the Sensei would have to say. As cover Boku had found an unobtrusive corner and, outside of the sensei's speech, was providing a calming background melody to the meal on the shakuhachi. By design it ...

Re: [D1EA, Training Grounds, Open] Bōjutsu demonstration (Occasion)
Another monk, seemingly a komuso, at first appears to be watching his colleagues intently in their display. Those with keen eyes, however, might notice that the tengai obscured head does not move even when the two demonstrators must have shifted slightly out of line of sight. Is he asleep? Is he med...
